University of Iowa Women’s Soccer Complex

This design build project features the University of Iowa Women’s Soccer Complex complete with locker rooms, training rooms, offices, team meeting spaces, and an observation deck. Working closely with the University of Iowa Design and Construction Department, Shoemaker & Haaland provided structural and civil engineering design. The project consisted of concrete spread footing foundations, steel and wood superstructure, cantilevered girder trusses, and complex connection designs. The University of Iowa Women’s Soccer Complex is a state-of-the-art facility.
